My name is Saqib Jatoi, and in 2019 I didn’t even own a mobile phone.
Today, I run a portfolio of 100+ YouTube channels. My team prepares more than 50 monetized channels every single month: channels ranging from 100,000 to 10 million subscribers. In 2023, I received 8 Silver Play Buttons and 1 Gold Play Button from YouTube.
This is the real story of how it happened. No shortcuts, no rich family, no luck. Just work.
2019: Learning YouTube on Borrowed Phones
I grew up in Rahim Yar Khan, Pakistan, in difficult financial conditions. As a child, I worked alongside my father and helped with household work. A mobile phone of my own was a luxury we couldn’t afford.
In 2019, I first learned that people were earning real money from YouTube. I was fascinated, but I had no phone, no laptop, and no internet of my own. So I researched everything on borrowed phones: other people’s devices, a few minutes here, a few minutes there.
I watched tutorials, studied successful channels, and took notes in my mind. While others scrolled for entertainment, I was studying YouTube like it was my university.
The Taunts That Almost Broke Me
When I started working on YouTube day and night, the people around me didn’t understand. My own family taunted me: “free vela ghar para rehta hai”: he just sits at home doing nothing.
Those words hurt. When your own people don’t believe in you, it cuts deeper than any stranger’s criticism. There were nights I questioned myself. Maybe they were right. Maybe I was wasting my time.
But something inside me refused to quit. I had seen what was possible, and I couldn’t unsee it.
2020–2021: Building My First Channels
In 2020, I created my first channel, “Saqi Tech.” In 2021, I launched my current main channel. I was still learning: thumbnails, titles, retention, the algorithm. Every video was an experiment.
Growth was slow at first. Painfully slow. But I kept posting, kept studying analytics, kept improving. I treated every failure as data.
Then one day, the first earning arrived: $112.
You might laugh at that number. But for me, $112 was proof. Proof that this was real. Proof that the taunts were wrong. Proof that a boy from a small town in Pakistan could earn from the internet.
That $112 changed everything. It wasn’t about the money, it was about belief.
Scaling: From One Channel to 100+
Once I understood the system, I did what any entrepreneur does: I systematized it.
I built processes for everything: niche research, content pipelines, SEO, thumbnail testing, monetization reviews, and quality audits. Scale, I learned, is not a personality trait. It’s a process.
Today, my operation includes:
- 100+ YouTube channels in my portfolio
- 50+ monetized channels prepared by my team every month (100K–10M subscribers)
- A global freelance agency serving international clients
- 8 Silver Play Buttons and 1 Gold Play Button awarded by YouTube in 2023
From two houses, two cars, and an office in Bahawalpur, everything you see today was built from that first $112 and an unbreakable routine.
Entering Music Distribution and Content Management
I’m not stopping at YouTube channels. I’m now expanding into music distribution and content management, and I’m looking for CMS partners to work with on partnership terms.
The creator economy is bigger than any single platform. Music, content rights, and digital assets are the next frontier — and I intend to be there early, the same way I was early with YouTube automation.
My Mission: Free Mentorship for Beginners
Here’s what matters most to me.
Every week, young people from small towns message me: “Bhai, online earning kaise start karun?” I was one of them once, no guidance, no money, no connections.
That’s why my mentorship is free, and always will be. If I can save even one person the years I wasted figuring things out alone, it’s worth it.
I share everything I learn on my YouTube channel: YouTube growth, freelancing, automation, and online business. No paid courses. No gatekeeping.
What I’d Tell the 2019 Version of Me
If I could go back and talk to the boy researching YouTube on borrowed phones, I’d say three things:
- The taunts don’t matter. People mock what they don’t understand. Keep working.
- Consistency beats talent. Most people quit at video 10. The winners are still posting at video 100.
- Trust Allah and don’t lose courage. Your time will come, but only if you don’t stop before it arrives.
Final Words
My story isn’t special because of the numbers. It’s special because of where it started: nothing. No phone, no money, no support.
If you’re a beginner reading this and feeling stuck, I’ve been exactly where you are. The only difference between us is time and persistence.
Start today. Stay consistent. And never let anyone tell you that someone from a small town can’t build something big.
